Melanie Mark Meet and Greet

Melanie Mark Meet and Greet

You're invited to a Meet and Greet event with Melanie Mark
NDP candidate for the Vancouver Mount Pleasant by-election

Come and hear from Melanie Mark about her campaign to be the first Aboriginal women elected as an MLA in British Columbia.

Melanie is of Nisga'a, Gitxsan, Cree and Ojibway descent and grew up in and around the Mount Pleasant area. Melanie has most recently worked at the office of Representatives for Children and Youth and has a long history of advocating for youth in care and working with youth in the Downtown East Side.

The Vancouver Mount Pleasant riding has one of the lowest voter turnouts in the province during general elections, and during by-elections the numbers plummet even further. Melanie has been out knocking on doors for months getting the word out to voters on Main Street, Commercial Drive, The Downtown East Side and everywhere in between.

Come out to meet Melanie, hear her story and network with your neighbours.

Feel free to share this invitation with friends.
